M.T.P. is a frustrated love album, a tongue in cheek, a vanity project as well as a promise of friendship and kinship.
The themes in these songs function as personal reminders of sexual desire, cynicism, heartbreak as well as self-mockery, hope and self confidence.

Inspired purely by the wish to be a band that is it not, Pissy find a sound out of mixing their fascination for their favourites (and what they mean to them) with an obnoxious layering of overdubs upon overdubs, pedal upon pedal.

An excuse to have friends, a reason to have a routine, a secret plan to feel self confidence and artistic release.

Opening the record is a hilarious but serious warning by drag queen Pancha Del Solar. “When you hear this sound, you will know you I am” - A squeal of sissyness that reassures the bands of its own faggotry and aural aggression. It’s a fleeting joke and a shy wish to establish that this is sister shit. This warning fulfils itself as a brick punch of bass beef, which lasts during the whole play until one last warning. “I see in heaven sweetheart” That’s Claudia Larson, la carona, with a message for when our lives meet in a non flesh realm.

Recorded in Berlin with Laura during the end of 2021. Due to band-member’s inability to get their shit together, it took a whole other year to see it through.

Anywhoo, here it is. Judge as you please and measure your sorrows.
